The Practice has been on Convent Walk since the 1990’s and before that, it was near London Road.

We have some patients that have been with us since they were children and now bring their grandchildren. We are a very family practice in terms of how people are treated.

Kathryn has owned the Practice since 2011. We are a family practice that provides high level dental care’ Then on the next bit under the flashing people to say ‘We provide any dental treatments to keep you fit and well and to have a lovely smile that you are happy with. We are a very established practice and have patients that have been with us since they were children and who now bring their grandchildren. We can provide high aesthetic work but also treat patients who are scared or find these environments challenging.

Kathryn doesn’t treat patients anymore but is in the practice most days and is always around for advice or treatment planning. You can make an appointment with her to talk about any cosmetic or aligner treatments. Moi (he’s from sunny Spain) and Catriona work throughout the week treating patients and perform all types of dentistry from check ups and fillings to clear braces and composite bonding. We provide treatments that are needed and some just to make your smile more beautiful (which is very important!). Everything is always printed out for you and explained so you always know how much things cost and what you are coming back for.

Kathryn doesn’t see patients clinically anymore but she is here to go through treatments to do with your smile or anything aesthetic or to do with Smilelign. You can make a free appointment to see her to run through your worries about your smile and she can run through options with you. She is also our Co Ordinator for anyone who has difficulties accessing treatment for neurodivergent issues or disabilities. Kathryn is also Secretary of the Local Dental Committee in Sheffield where she represents dentists in her area and works nationally for the committee working to ensure the best care for patients by liaising with Integrated Care Boards and local government. Kathryn also works with the LDC to provide training to the local dentists for their CPD and also works with the hospitals to make sure primary and secondary care provision is efficient. Both her children are springboard divers and compete nationally so is often near a diving pool in her spare time!

My name is Moises Rilo, but people call me Moi. I am originally from Spain and qualified as a dentist in Seville in 2009. I moved tot he UK in 2010 and since then have worked in NHS and private dentistry. I am a family dentist, but also provide aligner treatments using the Smilelign system to achieve a lovely straight smile. When i am not in the practice, I enjoy walking and exploring the landscape as Sheffield is so industrial but has the Peaks on its doorstep as well. I am also an avid gamer.

Catriona graduated from Sheffield in 2012. She has worked in NHS and private practices and provide high quality care to a diverse range of patients. She spent 6 years working in the Community Dental Service where she treated adults with special needs ensuring that they received the attention and support that they needed for their oral health. In addition to her clinical work there, she contributed to the development of future dentists through her role as a undergraduate outreach tutor where she mentored dental students int he practical training. Catriona has a gentle and calming approach, helping nervous patients feel at ease. Outside of Dentistry she enjoys spending her time with her young family.

I have worked at this practice for over 20 years which shows how lovely the practice is. I qualified as a nurse in 2001 from Sheffield Dental Hospital and have attended many courses over the years allowing me extended duties within the practice. When I am not here, you will find me with my wonderful family or reading a good book.

I qualified as a nurse in 2019 in Sheffield and I have been at the practice for more than a year. I like making people feel better about their smile whether it is helping to get them out of pain or making them have a beautiful smile with bonding or aligners. I like that it is a small family practice as we get to know all the patients and that makes care better. Outside of work I like seeing my niece and nephews and cooking with my friends.
